Our core commitment: The BHFM AI Face Shape Detector is designed with privacy by default. Your photo is never transmitted to any server. All AI processing happens locally in your browser. We collect only the minimum analytics data necessary to improve the tool.
1. Legal Framework

3. On-Device AI Processing
The face shape detection feature is powered by face-api.js, a JavaScript library that runs entirely within your web browser. The AI model is downloaded to your device when you visit the site, and all facial landmark analysis happens locally on your device.
This means:
- Your photo is never transmitted across the internet
- No image data is received, stored, or processed on our servers
- Your face shape result exists only on your device
- Closing the browser tab permanently removes all image data
4. Your Rights Under DPDP Act 2023
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Data Protection contact at privacy@besthairstyleformen.in. We will respond within 30 days as required by the DPDP Act.
5. How to Opt Out of Analytics
To stop Google Analytics tracking your visits:
- Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- Use a browser with built-in tracking protection (Firefox, Brave)
- Enable "Do Not Track" in your browser settings
- Use incognito/private browsing mode
6. Data Retention
- Photos: Never retained (processed locally only)
- Google Analytics data: Retained for 14 months per Google's standard settings
- Contact emails: Retained for 12 months, then deleted
7. Data Transfers
Google Analytics data may be transferred to and stored on servers outside India, including in the United States. Google complies with applicable data transfer regulations. No photo data or face shape results are ever transferred outside your device.
8. Security Measures
- The tool is served over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
- No photo data is transmitted, eliminating the primary data security risk
- Analytics data is protected by Google's enterprise security infrastructure
- We do not store passwords, payment information, or sensitive personal data
